Feel Good - MAIM A BIKE THIEF TODAY 10/17/2025

We're a fairly diverse bunch and we'd love anyone who likes MTBs but would prefer a bit of company to enjoy the scenery and maybe even a laugh with or at us. It's a weight off your shoulders knowing that someone else may just be carrying that Allen key missing from your mini-tool. And rest assured, even if we leave you lying in a dyke somewhere for a while, unconscious and battered to bits, we NEVER go home until the last man is accounted for!

DisasterSQuad

Just to explain our new online identity, historically we were midaircrisis.com for many years. It was printed on our bike shirts and we entered races as Team Midaircrisis or Team M.A.C. but we allowed Facebook to take over and let our web presence go to avoid the spiralling costs. Hence now the strangely named "maceeb.com", done for cost reduction and a bit of a throwback plus a nod to current (pun intended) assisted MTB trends and our early tendency to visit Scotland every other weekend for years. Almost all of our sometime-regular little squad now ride electric as well as their other bikes, and at times we're probably going to have to say whether an upcoming ride might be less suitable for purely leg-powered bikes. It's sort of happened once already on 29th December '24, although discreetly. That turned out to be as hard as we'd anticipated and while we'd all been around the route many times without motors, we didn't waste any time on the climbs which would have hurt an ordinary mortal. I hope that covers the name selection (and it was cheap!).

*NONE of our local rides, in particular the Thursday nighters, will be classified as eeb preferred.

I'm slowly getting a few of the (usual - poor - boring) videos sorted, and will post a full list of links on here if I ever get them finished.
